Breast cancer is the most frequent tumor in Western women. In Spain about 22,000 new breast cancers are diagnosed each year and affects women between 35 and 60 years, active labor and socially, although the risk of suffering increases from 50 to 65 years. Early diagnosis is one of the best ways to achieve a good prognosis of the disease through annual gynecological examinations and mammograms, the most effective test to diagnose breast cancer in its early stages. The news supposes an emotional shock because in a very short period they must face not only the disease but the medical tests, the treatments and the secondary effects. The Spanish Association Against Cancer recommends in these cases to ask as much information to doctors as we need, establish rest routines, eat in a balanced way and do moderate exercise such as walking 20 minutes a day, practice some relaxation technique and avoid isolation.
